Hello, We are looking to develop a relationship with someone to be a dog sitter/daycare and in the future full boarding for our little Zera. Zera is a Jack Russell/teckel rescue we've had for 2 and half years. She is very, very sweet with people (although she can be afraid of some men in the beginning) and loves nothing more than being scratched. Once she knows you she can be quite the snuggler. Sleeping and playing are her too other favorite things. With other dogs (especially when she's on the leash) she can be a bit barky. (She seems to be afraid of German Shepard types.) If the other dog is calm, like a labrador or golden retriever, she is very happy to meet them. She does have doggie friends of all kinds and sizes but in general, does better with male dogs. At this time Zera is only used to being alone for 2-3 hours. Since we are both at home, we don't find we leave her more than that, although we suspect she'd be okay for 4 hours. As mentioned we are looking to develop a relationship so we might leave her with someone for full boarding in the future. We are willing to start slow and have trial days so we can eventually go away and know that she is being looked after well. We don't have any set dates now and have entered some as this posting required. We are open to arrangements that are convenient to you, if that's staying with Zera here, or having her stay with you.
