Hi! My name is Elise. I'm a dutch med student who has lived in Amsterdam for about 4 years. Right now I'm in the waiting period before I start my master's degree in Medicine to become a doctor. Unfortunately due to my studies usually keeping me I don't have all the time necessary to get one of my own pets. However, I've found great joy in taking care of my friend's and family's pets. And now that I have more time, I'd love to extend that service to others as well. Growing up I've had a lot of diverse exprience with pets. Mostly cats, but also a turtle, a snake, and a variety of different fish. We also would occasionally look after other people's dogs. For me, when I'm taking care of animals I find it really rewarding. It's always a joy to see how animals can give back the love you give them. Going on dogwalks or letting a cat chase around some yarn also makes me happy, seeing how much the animal is enjoying themselves. Of course, it's not all play. If someone trusts me enough to take care of their baby I will take that responsiblity seriously. Because of this knowing a pet's quirks is important to me, that way I can adjust my care accordingly. Lastly, one of my hobbies is (admittedly a bit amateur) photography! If at all possible I'll make sure to send lots of cute animal pics of how much your best friend is enjoying their time.
